Moving directly from one battlefield to another isn't normally part of a unit's Standard MoveA Standard Move is the normal way a unit moves between its Base and a Battlefield.View in Glossary . Some cards and abilities can allow different kinds of movement, so always follow their instructions when they change the normal rules. Ganking, for example, allows a unit to move directly from battlefield to battlefield with its Standard Move.

Moving a unit doesn't remove it from play. It simply changes which location that unit is currently at.
Not every move works like a Standard Move. If a Spell, Ability, or other effect moves a unit, follow that effect's instructions. A unit being moved by an effect doesn't automatically mean it follows every rule of a Standard Move.
In practice
Example
Base → Battlefield — A Ready unit can make a Standard Move to a battlefield and Exhausts.
Battlefield → Base — A Ready unit can make a Standard Move back to its Base and Exhausts.
Battlefield → Battlefield — A normal Standard Move can't do that. You would normally need to move the unit back to its Base first, then wait until it can make another Standard Move. Ganking or another card or ability can provide a different movement option.
