How it works
Match every stated requirement, such as type, Energy cost or different names. Showing Off is optional; it is not an extra payment unless separate text requires one.
Information referenced from the shown objects is recorded when you Show Off. Later Might changes, moving a shown unit or discarding a shown card do not change that recorded information. You may use a shown card to pay a separate discard cost if that cost allows it. Multiple Show Off instances are separate and their linked text determines which one a later instruction uses.
In practice
Example
You Show Off a friendly unit with 4 Might for an effect that uses its shown Might. A response reduces it to 2 or returns it to hand. The effect still uses the recorded 4.
